Equine

Learn to release tension, reinforce a sense of balance in your horse, and strengthen the human/equine bond.

How to Rock Your Horse (90 minutes)

I will lead you through this gentle exercise, which will soften and rebalance both you and your horse.

I will also show you how to recognize when your horse is suffering from muscle tension and unbalanced movement and will demonstrate the three basic approaches of the SENSE Method of Movement Re-education. You will have the opportunity to try some of these approaches on your horse as well.

You can bring your horse, or one will be provided.

Class size is limited to 15.

Cost: $35 per person. The entire fee will be donated to your choice of either Habitat for Horses or The Animal Legal Defense Fund (or another non-profit organization of your choice).

One-Day Class

An extended version of the 90-minute class (above). Participants receive substantial hands-on time with horses.

Classes can be four, five, or six hours long, depending on the interest of the participants.

You can bring your own horse, or one will be provided.

Class size is limited to eight.

Cost: $25 per hour, per person.

Canine

The Magic of Movement (90 minutes)

Does your dog sit evenly on both seatbones, or does he favor one or the other? Does she always lie on the same side of her body? Does he have difficulty getting up? Is she uncoordinated or off-balance? Does he suffer from pain or stiffness? Is your dog slow-moving, generally resistant, or grouchy?

Image result for CanineIn this 90-minute demonstration, I will explain the importance of efficient movement in our animal companions and will explain how you can determine if your animal is moving efficiently and comfortably.

I will also demonstrate the three hands-on approaches used in the SENSE Method and will show you How to Breathe with Your Dog, an exercise designed to promote relaxation and bonding with your animal companion.

All of the information and exercises in this class are applicable to cats as well as dogs.

Cost: $25 per person. The entire fee will be donated to The Animal Legal Defense Fund or another non-profit organization or shelter of your choice.
