City of Blue Ridge Passes Beer/Wine Pouring in Restaurants

Tonight the Blue Ridge City Council, with new council member Michael Eaton, followed Fannin County’s lead and passed a new city ordinance that allows beer and wine pouring in city restaurants . 2009 has been a bad year for the local prohibitionists. Hallelujah!!!

That is great news! I am sure the restaurants have seen an improvement in sales since the law passed. Our upcoming issue (September/October) of Blue Ridge Country is featuring a beer guide which may be beneficial to those who are in support of this law change in Blue Ridge. We also have a spring issue that is going to feature the vineyards located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Check it out!
