CNN Money cites Blue Ridge as prime spot for fall colors

It’s easy to think that the Deep South, with its mild fall weather, might not be the best option for foliage fanatics.

The ideal way to experience it is simply to drive in and around the area, visiting nearby similarly small towns (Blairsville, Young Harris, Hiawassee) or crossing the border into Tennessee (it’s less than a half-hour away), especially the historic copper-mining city of Ducktown.
