Gazebo hour on the downtown webcam

I’ve set the downtown cam to stay stationary and zoom in on the large gazebo everyday from noon to 1PM. So if you would like to say hello to friends or relatives while you’re in Blue Ridge, head on over to the large gazebo in the park for lunch and give them a call on your cell phone.

Thanks to Steve for the idea which was spawned from some of the comments here from our soldiers overseas viewing their families on the cam.

That is a wonderful idea! My youngest daughter left for college last August and it was so hard for her to miss her weekends in Blue Ridge. So, one weekend we all packed up, went to dinner and then headed over to the Aska Road cam. Called her and stood there waving and blowing kisses to her. She loved the opportunity to see her family and friends. We will put this to good use this summer, as she will be continuing school through the summer semester. Thank you for all the great cams…it keeps us all in touch more than you probably ever imagined.
