New North Georgia forum is live/online

Now that I manage more blogs than I can count on one hand, I’ve decided to start a forum that will hopefully cover more of the bases. The main difference between a blog and a forum is that users can bring up their own topics for discussion, whereas with a blog, it’s just me (and a few others) initiating the discussion and others then comment on that topic. Power-to-the-people. :)

I’m organizing it by towns/cities to begin with and going from there; your input is always welcome. As with most new forums, there’s not a lot to look at until people start posting. However, once folks start filing in, forums are an invaluable source for information, and compared to blogs, I think it’s much easier to ask and find/get answers to what you’re looking for.

I’m on vacation right now (first one in 3-years, man how Hilton Head has grown!) and we’re moving our office next week, but I expect to have the forum installed and running by mid August (or before).

Will it fly or flop? I dunno but I never thought this little blog would receive the kind of response that it has.

update: IT’S LIVE. Simply register and start your own thread(s).
